Tip of the Week: Halloween decorations on sale

Jack O'Lanterns in the clearance bin - Photo by Frank Nemecek
Halloween is less than two weeks away. Interestingly enough, this means that most of the big box retailers have their Halloween decorations in the clearance bins already so they can make room for Christmas displays.

The fact that many of them already have Christmas stuff out is the subject of a rant for another time.

The important thing is that there are lots of cool decorations that are available super cheap. Some of the great deals that I found over the weekend include plastic jack o'lanterns in a variety of colors for only $1 at Wal-Mart (5851 Mercury Dr. in Dearborn) as well as:
  • Fake spider webs in either white or green for only $1.97 at Wal-Mart; and
  • Wide variety of inflatable ghosts, goblins, and jack o'lanterns on sale at Garden Ridge (5901 Mercury Dr. in Dearborn).
It's not too late to get your house ready for Halloween. These prices make it that much easier to do so.

Halloween decorations on sale is your Warrendale Tip of the Week.
