The Marine Corps Wants You

For those who might be interesting in working on a commercial for the U.S. Marine Corps, this notice showed up in my email in-box. It's from one of the larger casting agencies in the Detroit area.

The I Group is working on a video for the U.S. Marine Corps. The video is recapturing a life of a marine growing up in Detroit and one scene we are helping recreate is a neighborhood pick-up game of baseball.

We are looking to book African-American, Hispanic, Middle-Eastern and Asian boys from the ages of 11 – 17 with organized baseball playing experience.

The rate for the day is $323.

If anyone is interested in participating please email a recent digital picture along with a list of their baseball playing experience including, but not limited to:

  1. How many years you've played?
  2. What positions you play?
  3. Do you bat left or right handed?
  4. Do you throw left or right handed?

Please also include your name, contact information, your child's name and his date of birth.

Please email your submissions to igroup [at] theigroup [dot] com.

Please email your submissions ASAP but no later than 5pm, Wednesday November 24th.
