Spring 2008

Spring officially arrived in Detroit's Warrendale neighborhood (and the rest of the northern hemisphere) at 1:48 a.m. this morning.

I thank God for its arrival.

The snow is almost completely melted, save a few shrinking patches of it that linger here and there.

The thermometer outside my window is above the freezing mark on a fairly consistent basis during the day. Night time temperatures will improve soon enough.

I thank God that spring has finally arrived.
