Save the Warrendale Radio Patrol

Due to a cut in funding from the City of Detroit, as a change in how those funds are allocated, the Warrendale Radio Patrol is danger of closing in November of this year. In order to continue operating they need to increase the number of patrols they do each month. As a result, they are looking for volunteers to step up and lend a hand.

The Warrendale Radio Patrol is the oldest radio patrol in Detroit. They patrol our neighborhood two nights each week for three or four hours each night. They keep an eye on the neighborhood; serving as the eyes and ears of the police.

If you are able to volunteer even two nights a month, please call Bob Franko (President of the Warrendale Radio Patrol) at (313) 336-8758. Volunteers receive a small stipend for their time and gas.
