Fewer Gun Shots Than Last Year

For what it's worth, it would appear that New Year's 2012 began with far less celebratory gun fire than previous years. I heard some, but it was much, much less than a year ago. Also, as I check in with friends on Facebook and elsewhere, it would appear that this trend is citywide.

For this, I am thankful. Very, very thankful.

Happy New Year, everyone.

LESS GUNFIRE ?????
I heard 16 minutes at midnight
in the Evergreen - Whitlock area and then sporadic...some fireworks, but majority gun shots -
And with the new Illegal Fireworks for sale law - we are going to have more noise and less peaceful celebrations in the future.

Snyder and the Republicans are not protecting the consumers or the 99% - they only see the 1% and trying to work for them - God Help Us

Yeah, but I heard almost a solid hour of it last year.
