Occupy Wall Street Comes to Detroit

It's raining currently in Detroit. Therefore, I can't do my usual walk through the Warrendale neighborhood to show you some of the weird, disturbing, or interesting things that I see along the way.

However, I did want to talk with you about Occupy Wall Street. The protests are coming to Detroit on October 21. With their impending arrival, I wanted to take a moment to share a few thoughts with you about them.

Update @ 10:52 p.m.
For anyone who would like more information about Occupy Detroit, please see their page on Facebook here.

Thank you so much for this.

Most of the negative comments I've seen are, sadly, coming from the left, and they're "This isn't the way to do it", and "maybe they'll vote next time!" I want to scream "Twitter is not the only place to protest!!" and "How do you know they didn't?" We're a sad, apathetic people, and it's tiring to hear people that would have otherwise been supportive being so negative.
