Kilpark Indicted on 19 Counts of Fraud

The former Mayor Kwame M. Kilpatrick was indicted on 19 charges related to corruption by a federal grand jury this afternoon. Most of these charges related to the operation of a charity that he set up, the Kilpatrick Civic Fund. In spite of this, Mike Paul, a spokesman for Mr. Kilpatrick, released a written statement this afternoon in which he said that the Federal Bureau of Investigation found "nothing" on him.

I guess it would've had to have been 20 charges in that indictment before he was willing to call it "something."
