City Council Discusses Rouge Park

The Detroit City Council held a public hearing at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on the future of Rouge Park last Wednesday. (Yes, I am tardy about reporting on it).

The single biggest development was when Harvey Santana of the Warrendale Community Organization addressed the City Council. He asked them to adopt a comprehensive plan for the future of Rouge Park.

There are an additional 38 photos that meeting are available on my Flickr page.

The Friends of Rouge Park will have their next meeting tonight at 6 pm in St. Suzanne Catholic Church (9857 Westwood at West Chicago, in the building next to the church).
