Former Detroit City Councilman Alonzo Bates has been convicted on five different felony charges.

All I can say is that it couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

HELLO WARRENDALE
LONNIE BATES, FORMER DETROIT CITY COUNCILMAN, IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH - DETROIT CITY GOVERNMENT..NO ETHICAL STANDARDS..
UNACCOUNTABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL THAT LEADS A UNRESPONSIVE CITY SERVICES..
BATES SHOULD BE GIVEN THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE, BUT HE HAS LETTERS OF SUPPORT - THAT SHOULD BE IGNORED AND HIS SENTENCE SHOULD SEND A MESSAGE...
BE AN HONEST RESPONSIBLE CITY SERVANT..BATES AND OTHERS ARE NOT..
