I Made the Lights Go Out in Warrendale

Okay - so my schedule has been so incredibly hectic that it's been almost a month since I've been able to post anything to the Warrendale blog. My schedule has quieted down for the most part and last night I sat down at my computer to write a long overdue post.

And then the lights went out as soon as I logged-on.

A portion of Warrendale (the part that I live in) had a black-out last night at around 11 p.m. Everyone in the area from W. Warren Avenue to north, Dayton to the south; from the Southfield Freeway to the east and Brace to the west lost their power. Luckily, electricity was restored at approximately 3 a.m. this morning.

To everyone in Warrendale, please accept my aplogies for those 4 hours without electricity. After being gone for a month, the shear shock of my sudden return clearly caused a jolt within the area's power grid.
